What you need: a printer, one sheet of US Letter paper (8.5 × 11 inches), and crayons or colored pencils. No cutting, glue or extra game pieces.

Print it in four steps
- Open the PDF. Use the download button above. On a phone, save it to Files or Downloads if your browser only opens a preview.
- Choose US Letter and portrait. Print single-sided at 100% or Actual size. There is only one page to print.
- Check the print preview. Make sure the title and bottom of the drawing are visible. Turn off browser headers and footers if they appear. Print from the PDF viewer, not from this webpage.
- Color together or independently. The short story prompt can be read aloud. There is no color key and no required finished look.
If an edge is clipped, confirm Letter paper is selected in both the viewer and printer settings. If your printer still cannot fit the page, use Fit to printable area and inspect the preview again; this slightly reduces the drawing. On A4 paper, use Fit and expect different margins. Physical printer results vary; we have not completed physical print testing.

Leave pencils and the page at the table after a group game. Children can color, tell a story about the wagon or simply watch. For a shared game first, use the family games chooser. Planning an indoor adventure? The hunt setup guide explains how to place and test a clue trail.
